Poly Dimethyl Diallyl Ammonium Chloride (PDAC) is a high-molecular-weight, strongly cationic polyelectrolyte. It is non-toxic, non-flammable, completely water-soluble, and stable over a wide pH range (2–10). PDAC does not form gels and is resistant to chlorine and biological degradation.
